Absolutely awesome read. Well developed characters (sub-plot a little weak) who interact believably and well the dialougue is witty and flows very well. There are a few anachronisms on usuage in language, "okay" for one, but not too distracting.

It was hard to like the heronine in this book, although she does grow as a person in the book the leap from where she "was" to where she "ends" is to fast to fit within the story. In my opinion she should have started out less haughty to make the growth more believeable. There really isn't much of a plot/suspense to the story itself but it is still an ejoyable read.

The intrique plot is a little far fetched but the characters interact well and it's a fast moving well-written story.

She's the Blonde Bombsehll who once starred in a string of low-budget films and is now a jet-setting, bestselling author. But one too many bites of caviar, menaacing phone calls from her jailbird ex, a tabloid photographer hot on her heels, and nasty gossip about her life send Juliet over the edge. Disguising her identity, Juliet runs...straight into the arms of Cole Sheridan, a small town vet with troubles of his own.
With a malpractice suit hanging over his head and his bohemian parents and ther band of old hippie friends about to converge on his home, the last thing Coles needs in one more snag in his orderly life. But when he spots the raven-haired beauty with the curvaceous body stranded along a lonely streth of highway, he hitches her car to his and tows one more complication his way.
He thinks she's quirky; she thinks he's sexy but cantankerous. She's hiding something; he wants to push everyone away -- until the chaos of Juliet's life catches up with her in Plentiful, Wyoming. Once more she's ready to run..and then Cole kisses her!
That's when the trouble really begins.
Funny, light and a good read.

This was a good read with a heroine who was likeable, I did find the "mystery/suspense" a bit weak. Also don't let the publisher fool you - this is not Erotica.

Interesting plot to keep things moving; but a little slow in parts. Overall not bad.

Not as good as "Good Girls Do" (which for some reason is not listed under Cathie Linz's titles) and "Bad Girls Don't". I would have liked to have had more of Cole written. She spent so much time on the story-in-side-the story about Sue Ellen's problems that she failed to flesh out the main characters. A big drawback as it makes the story of Leena anc Cole choppy and incomplete.

Sort of leaps into the middle of the characters lives without any build up but still a good read.

Oh Man this is a GREAT book! Not as good a "Hard Days Knight" but excellent nevertheless. The comic moments are pricelss and the heat level is blazing!

Slightly confusing storyline and VERY abrupt ending even if it is book one. It's hard to like Jewel.
