#1 - This is a young adult book, and that is very clear as it's being read. #2 - For such a lengthy novel, the story was very simplistic - I needed more detail, something more complex . #3 - I wasn't compelled to read the next book.
I do have to say that although this is a long book, it is a quick read. Might be a good book for the beach. The story gets better after the second half of the book, if you can wait that long. But still, I don't understand all the hype surrounding it. Obviously, I'm in the minority.
