I wrote to Sharlene MacLaren about this book because it cost about $999.00 used on Amazon and asked her where I could get a copy that I didn't have to take a second mortage my house to buy and here is what she said.This was one of her first books and with a new publisher that in her words she is glad it is "out of print" hence the crazy price.Tender Vow is the same book as Spring's Promise but with a new publisher.Just thought that might clear things up for you.Sharlene MacLaren thought it was nuts when I told her what Amazon listed her book for.This was private sellers not Amazon.Thought this might help.Might even put a smile on your face,it did mine:)

A very moving story.One that will be sure to touch your heart if you know any child that has been a victim of sexual child abuse.The one thing I did not like is after reading three fouth of the book with no nasty curse words all at once it is one after the other.I think the book could have left them out and still had a good book.
