I didn't really care for this book. I was expecting more barista info. And most of the recipes called for instant coffee. Yuck.

She is such a chatty author. I think I enjoy more of the getting to the point and not so much flowery "head talk"

This is the best series my family and I have ever read. My children are 9 and 11. When I started reading this series out loud to my children, my husband was listening from the other room. We started trading nights reading to the children and then eventually he took over. He love the books that much. Now, each of my children has read the entire series on their own!

The book was kind of all over the place. It was hard to tell about what period of life she was describing and then she would skip to a memory from another time. Overall it was an entertaining read though.

This book will have you glued to your seat. What makes the book so compelling is that sometimes you actually agree with the parents beliefs but at the same time shocked and disturbed by how they raised their children.

This was one of the sweetest books I have read in a long time and it is going to be perfect for both of my pre teen daughters to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was a wonderful book for pre-teens to learn a little about Hawaii's history through a fictional story

This book was incredibly tragic. It kept me reading for sure but only in the hope that life would get better for the brother and sister in the story. Very realistic.

This is by far the most well written book I have read. I can't believe I never thought about how most of the stories in the Bible and how they were from a man's perspective.

A truly delicious treat of a book. I really enjoy this new author. Once I pick up any of her books ( not enough of them yet ) I can't put it down until it is finished.

I really enjoyed this book. She writes as if these memories are as fresh as the day they happened and it truly gives you the feelings that she had at different stages of her life.

The way this complicated little story comes together in the end is brilliant! AND I love how she doesn't really reveal the whole story, even in the end. It leaves you to wonder and drives you MADD. I loved it!
