I pretty much liked this book except for the broken english which made it hard to read and thus slowed me down.

If I had known this book was so easy to read, I would've read it sooner. A 747 full of students is hijacked by a giant spaceship and whisked off to Charon the moon of Pluto. The students and their teacher and the pilots are to be trained to take over the operation of the planet which is really hollow and a giant terrarium with dinosaurs rescued from Earth. It was a fun read and I finished it in about a week.

I really liked this book. It was easy to read from the getgo. However, I gave it 4½ stars because of some vulgar language and descriptive sex. It read kinda like Heinlein's Podkayne of Mars - a young woman's adventures in outer space, but unlike Podkayne, Carmen is traveling to Mars from Earth where she meets benevolent "martians".

As I'm writing this I have just about 20 pages to go. At the front of the book the author lists some of the main characters, I wish he'd listed more and maybe explained some of the tech terms / abbreviations. However, I did enjoy the book. If you like military fiction - Dale Brown does it best. I've read more than a half-dozen of his books. Read it when you're not piloting your megafortress or dodging enemy missles.

This is a personal journal/travelogue of a young woman from Mars enroute to Earth with a stopover in Venus. My favorite part is when she and the other women on the spaceship are taking care of the babies in a low grav environment. Later, she and her younger brother and Uncle get into trouble on Venus and it's up to her brother to save the day. I didn't care for the last chapter, it was written by her brother because she was injured by an explosion from a bomb that he smuggled in. Overall, a very enjoyable novel I was able to read in a few days.

This book is about an experiment in time travel...Like nothing I've ever read before. Twin brothers travelling in opposite directions in time, both at opposite ends of time i.e. one a hundred million years in the past, the other a hundred million years in the future. It's what they see as they're pulled back-and-forth by two singularities - a black hole and a white hole. Easy to read and very enjoyable.

I loved this book. I wish it could go on for another 400 pages. It's a great time travel novel. Two guys, lifelong friends go looking for the one's father who mysteriously disappears. Using converters (personal time machines) they jump through the ages while meeting many famous people along the way. Never a dull moment. Thanks, Jack.
