This is a great little book that gives you ideas of what to be happy about that you might not even have thought of.

This book is based on a TRUE story with newspaper articles to confirm it and a Google search that does as well. I personally found the book very compelling and renews ones thoughts on life after death and the power of true God-Fearing prayers. It made me think many times of what would had happened if his friend had not been allowed by the policeman to go pray for his friend, even tho' considered [and actually was pronounced] dead. I also wondered how many times chances have been missed to pray for those in wrecks who are dying or are considered dead, would they have came back from the dead if only someone had prayed for them. The story is well-written and moves along at a fast clip, keeping your interest, you will find yourself stopping/starting but not because of the writing but the content of what you're reading....it really makes one stop and think things clearer and in trying to make sense also arrives the ability to be able to put yourself in his shoes when the accident happens and gives fodder for why we should alway be on guard...."for satan is like a lion constantly seeking whom he can devour". After reading this book it makes you wonder about what if? And if, would YOU be ready? Great read for book clubs. Starts you out with a LOT of questions but in the end gives you LOTS of answers as well.

This book made me sick to my stomach at the cruelness and evil of humans--it was also a textbook example of how preditors stalk and plan/use the victim-to-be and how gullable we as kind humans can also be therefore making ourselves easy targets. Parts made me sad and most made me very mad at the killers, and at the law for taking so long to "see" things clearly---a great TC noval that will leave you saddened for the victim and what her potential to mankind could have been but for.....

This book is as basic as it gets but for woman and some men {lol} it's great because in it's simplicity it has awesome illustrations that help you STEP-BY-STEP do everything from changing outlet plates to re-wiring a lamp or house. Helps to have it handy because it covers simple ways to switch chandeliers, to rwiring just about ANYTHING ELECTRICAL....with very detailed pictures.

DISFUNCTION AT IT'S BEST!
This title is MISLEADING.
It speaks of Bingo and Queens and Paradise and suggests good, clean, laughable FUN.
NOT!
It is not a good warm/cuddly feel-good book. It storyline and characters suggests that the author needs some counseling at best and serious mental health care at worst...imo.
This story started out funny, then changes to a dark side SO not funny, it made me uncomfortable.
I felt at times like I was window-peeping in a world so dysfunctional there are no words to describe the characters (or the author's reasoning)in the story.
Sure it has some great ALBEIT FEW lines that will make you laugh out loud, and with the exception of "Elijah" who makes you love him from the onset, the story itself is nothing but gloom and doom.
With sooo many tragedies that it's unbelievable.
This I feel far outweighs the "good" feeling a book should leave you with.
The feeling I speak of, is the one where you turn that last page, close the book, give a sigh and know, that your time spent reading it was worthwhile.
This book on the other hand left me feeling like I needed a psychiatrist for even having finished it.
So if you like disfunction at it's best, then this book is for you!
However, if you have enough headaches in the real world and read a book to relax or to escape like I do, then by ALL MEANS PASS THIS ONE UP.
I gave it a 3 1/2 solely on creativity and for "Elijah".

But lately Gabrielle has been noticing the birds. Especially the mysterious black birds that seem to call to her, to follow her, to dive at her.
They stare at her with their soulless, black eyes. Soon incidents with the birds begin to appear on the news.
People are getting hurt. The birds are out of control. Then Gabrielle notices that bees, too, are becoming more dangerious....

This book was written by a local farmer and is very informative and gives a great historical view of what Remington, Indiana and Indiana itself was really like back in the early 1900's. A Great read for anyone missing or wondering about what those "good ol' days" were really about in Smalltown USA.

Great informative book for all animal lovers, especially greared towards Cats, kittens, Dogs and Puppies but does have some birds, reptiles and wildlife included. Excellent source of safe-at-home-treatments for a wide assortment of illnesses and injuries.
