Love this series. Had read "Consequences" before but not "Fatal Destiny" which filled in some missing pieces to the overall story line. Love these characters!

Riveting story of one family's experience as Hitler gained power. Interesting to see it from a diplomat's perspective.

Book was a fun romp. Light references to Jane Austen, and colorful Jewish grandparents. A delightful read!

5th book in a wonderful series, buts read well on its own. Love the characters and the traveling back and forth between Britain and Maine. Thoroughly enjoyed this, had trouble putting it down.

Interesting combination of murder mystery and history. Two seemingly divergent tales brought together by happenstance. Book jumps back and forth between the two stories, one more interesting than the other. Not the dry hostory of school textbooks.

Wonderful fantasy world. Text is a bit wordy and gets bogged down a little, but is ultimately necessary to understand the world created.
