LOVED this book! I'm still living in that beach-side New England town with the Thursday night knitting group. Warning! This book will make you want to eat! The food descriptions are so tantaliziing. And I love the pattern at the back of the book. It is one I'm definitely going to try. It's not one of those super basic patterns you find in some other knitting mysteries. The plot is interesting and the characters well-developed. And when the crime is solved, you are surprised! It ends so great. Highly recommended.

This was a really FUN read. I read it in about 3 days. I just enjoyed it so much. It's a quick read, romantic, sexy, and fun. I found it laugh out loud funny in parts.

I've read four of the Emily Windsnap books. They are charming and fun to read. For an adult, they can be read in a few hours. They are wholesome so a parent can trust them with their child. Her adventures leave you worried for a while, but all works out in the end and family always prevails. Charming books. This one is the best of all that I've read, however, it is an unusual story line that leaves a bit of mystery. Really good plot.

Upon receiving this book our 13-year-old son immediately snatched it up and began perusing recipes. He made our lunch from it that day and then planned an made a dinner from it later in the week. It's a wonderfully easy cookbook for beginners but also a lot of fun for someone who's been cooking for years and needs some inspiration.

Loved. Loved. Loved this book. I read it in under a week. Since I crochet, the feel of this book completely warmed my heart. I felt myself relaxing as I read about the heroine relaxing while learning to crochet. And there's a bonus recipe and crochet pattern at the back of the book. This book was a pleasure to read. It was a true mystery. I was surprised at the ending. A wonderful respite in a stressful week.

I read this book in one day. You can tell it's been written by a 10-year-old. Although there was an adult co-author, the words are clearly Nujoods. The story is straight forward and moving. You feel like you know this little girl when she's finished telling her story. It was a good read.

This is a wonderful little book with tons of beautiful recipes. I sat and read through the entire thing upon receiving it and will make many of the recipes included in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading A Little Book of English Teas and will own this little cookbook forever.

A very enjoyable read that made me want to read Pride and Prejudice. This is a slightly unusual romance that keeps you guessing almost to the end. It's an easy read. The characters are charming and the book kept me interested throughout. If you love a happy ending, read Me and Mr. Darcy.

Loved, loved, loved this book. I read Ms. Kessler's Emily Windsnap series and enjoyed it. But this out-ranks them all. It was a charming book with a clever plotline. Every tween girl should read this. Definitely a lesson in appreciation for all.

A good read. Alice Hoffman has a lyrical quality to her writing and there were a lot of quotes that were noteworthy. The book seemed to end abruptly, however, with all the ends tied, but not the pleasant meandering that the rest of the book took. Suddenly, everything was finished and they all lived happily ever after. Also, it was not very similar to the movie at all. But still a good read.

This was an interesting book, although not for the faint of heart. At times the reading got a little dry going into the details of creating the dictionary and how a word was properly defined. But I am glad I read it. It was thought provoking. I mean, have you ever thought about how you would even go about creatinga dictionary? I found the author to sometimes be a little romantic in his renderings, but that made the personal stories of the book more appealing. I did enjoy it but it took a while to wade through the dry bits.

Loved-loved-loved Emily Windsnap and can't wait to receive book 2! This book is written for 'tweens, but this 40-something mother just fell in love with the characters in the book. Emily and Shona's friendship reminded me so much of the best friend I made in 2nd grade and still have today. I read this book in a day. It was well worth the few hours it took to read it. And it's not just a "girls" book. Boys would find the adventure and intrigue very interesting.
