This book is similar to the 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' series that is so popular. It is packed with many inspirational and sometimes humorous stories of those who prayed the rosary. If you pray the rosary frequently this book will confirm your belief in the power of prayer. If you are not yet accustomed to the praying the rosary you may find a desire start. Our Lady of the Rosary, Pray for us.

The reader is invited into the thoughts and feelings of Susie Salmon, a teenager murder victim as she recounts her story and watches her family slowly piece together their lives after tragedy from her peaceful place in heaven.

This is the story of a miracle as told by those who experienced it first hand. Reading this book I was amazed at the courage and determination each person had to get through this ordeal. Each contributor shared an entirely different perspective during those intense moments on the plane and after the crash. I found it gripping and inspiring.

I was looking for recipes for healthy meals that I could prepare ahead of time, freeze and reheat later. This book has many recipes for foods that are purchased frozen, such as veggies, fish, meat etc. Not all of the recipes are designed to be made ahead and frozen.
Each recipe is marked as either 'For the freezer' or 'From the freezer'. Also listed is a rough list of nutrition info: calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium and fiber. The authors also estimate the cost per serving though since the book is 15 years old that info is outdated. So far, I have only made a couple recipes.
The ingredients are common, easy to find items. The recipes include meat, fish, pasta, vegetarian main meals as well as sides, breads and desserts.
I would prefer that the protein content was listed for these items. I am glad that I have this book and am looking forward to trying some more recipes.

I just started reading this book. At first it was a bit confusing as it goes back in forth in time but is rather amusing as the main character finds himself in some rather awkward situations through time travel and meets his wife at different stages in their lives.

My daughter read this book for her summer reading requirement for school and kept telling me what was happening in the story. I became so interested in the plight of these characters that I read the book myself and did some research on this tragic fire. We both were educated on moment in history and drawn into the story by the trials experienced by each character.

I ordered this book for my 14 year old daughter but decided I wanted to read it first to make sure it was appropriate. I would say this is written with the older teen or adolescent in mind. It is truly written from the heart with plenty of accounts of people who did not wait until marriage and regretted it. More importantly, Rebecca shares her reasons for waiting. Also, this book is loaded with facts about the risks of premarital sex. I have not yet finished the book but am confident this book is worth reading and sharing with friends.
