I thought this book definitely measured up to King's standards, and kept me fully engaged in the story until the very end. To me, the ending was so disappointing and not at all up to the standards of most of King's work. It was too simple and uneventful for me.

I read this book in two evenings. I could not put it down. I love stories like these where you are with the characters throughout most of their lives, really leaving you feeling a connection with them. The ending of the book literally made me cry, and then I wish it hadn't ended.
