Amazing tale of a legendary move by one man to exalt the woman he loved. Told by his daughter, you will be drawn into the love story and choosing to side with her all along the way. This is the second John Shors book I've read and while this story is different, his exhilarating story style is the same. A must read!

A book of love, hope and warmth, The Christmas Quilt is a compelling and tender account of a family in the mountains of North Georgia. There were Sunday dinners at Granny's, blackberry picking, running the train tracks, a revival meeting, and swimming in the town river after dropping into the water from a bridge.

From a rocky start to her marriage, Julie manages to hang on to every thread of self-determination, and makes choices that will determine her own future. This story proves the power of God and prayer and fellowship, a great read!

A lovely story for children. A lesson in tolerance.
