Not particularly impressed with this book. Characters are completely one dimensional. Not really interesting due to personal immaturity.

I found this a very touching emotional story of what happens to the elderly, this one 91 yo man in particular.
Kept bringing tears to my eyes.

Having read all of Nesbo's Harry Hole series and enjoyed them all. I realize that translating into the English language must be challenging but this particular translation by Charlotte Barslund is absolutely the worst. I also wonder who did the proofreading before publication. Not only is the grammar wrong but the descriptions such as: "methusalahs of Dom Perignon" made me laugh.

The story itself definitely holds one's interest but Nesbo's work deserves better...

My review is based on the problems mentioned above.

Traveler was a great read. To really appreciate it you have to read the second and final book in the series. It takes George Orwell's 1984 a couple of steps forward but the premise is the same. Control by technology...
