If you believe this book, flight attendants just fly to stay in hotels, party and get blind drunk. This book is tedious, and boring.

Something different from Clive Cussler, which is a good thing - NUMA and Dirk were getting a bit repetitive. This book is slightly historical, and rail based - a very enjoyable read.

I really disliked this book - basically it promotes a totally Vegan diet (which is fine - if the cover speil gave an idea to expect this, and it doesn't offer anything in the way of compromise. I also didn't care for the "tone" of the book - it was fairly insulting to the reader IMHO.
If PETA wrote a "healthy diet' book - this would be it.

I have been a fan of this series for a while, but, found this book to be ...almost irritating. I found myself getting annoyed by the main character, it seemed his personality traits were being exaggerated to "move the story along", and , for me, this turned him into a not very like-able character. Also, it ended quickly, without fully exploring the consequences of what happened. Not, if CJ Box would start a spin off series with the Nate Romanowski character, I would be more interested in following that series that reading anymore of Joe Pickett.
