Anyone who has enjoyed Barbara Kingsolver's novels, will love this collection of short stories. I was absolutely crazy about some of them. The only bad part was you wanted them to go on longer than they do!

I loved this book. It was well written and a fascinating account of these lives. It was also haunting and I have been thinking about it ever since I finished it, to the point of it affecting my sleep!
