Can't get enough of this series!

predictable, but first 2/3 is really good

the pine deep trilogy isn't Maberry's best stuff. Try the Rot and Ruin series instead

Absolutely one of the best books I've read in my whole life. Would give more than 5 stars if possible

Like a hilarious and dark version of Catcher in the Rye

I've read many of Card's novels, but if all of his short stories are of the same quality as THE CHANGED MAN, then his stories may actually be better than his novels.
Not one weak story in here, but "Fat Farm" was my favorite

didn't like it quite as much as the other Alvin maker books.
I hear there is a book 7 on the way. I think the series needs it

Very good! Reminds me some of Robert Bloch

story was ok, but the technical nature of the writing turned me off

The book, to me, felt like a handful of setpieces, with zombies thrown in. I had a hard time feeling an emotional attachment to the story

I don't rate very many book with 5 stars. This year I read 100 books, and only handed out seven 5-star ratings. With that being said, this was the BEST book I read in 2015. It was like a more dystopian Lord of the Flies, but more emotionally involving.

Inventive plot, but stale writing style
