Wonderful cover art. Originally written as a series of short stories for the magazine, "Fantastic" with pseudonym Michael F. X. Milhaus.
Reminiscent of "I dream of Jeannie" TV show in some respects. Good character development.
Includes a good afterword by editor Ted White giving background of how the project evolved.

Excellent levels of both plot tie-in's back to the on-going show theme's as well as words lavishly painting a thousand mental pictures.
It happens to particularly resonate with me that people will continue to help each other overcome nature's weather obstacles, when I match the stories about lake effect snow storms in Buffalo versus NYC battles with hurricane Sandy.
