Brilliantly written! B.A. Paris has woven a the threads of a fairy tale romance and a spine-chilling thriller into a plot that continues to thicken to the very last page.

This book pulls you in immediately and completely! It is a page turner that I could NOT put down, even when I tried! And yes, I tried...

As a domestic abuse survivor, I became thoroughly disgusted by the cruelty being inflicted upon Grace; I did not want to revisit the feelings of anguish and despesration. I had to put the book down and walk away. I had no intention of finishing the read, the terror was too real.

As I tried to busy myself with the household chores that I needed to get done, I felt the pull of Grace's plight.
In much the same way that Jack's psychopathy lured Grace to her demise, this book captured my willpower and within 15 minutes I had picked the book up again and didn't put it down until the end!

This is a book that I will keep on my shelf forever and use over and over again!

Kokology is a fun and easy way to learn more about yourself and/or others. The book consists of several "exercises". Each exercise consists of a brief paragraph or statement followed by a question. You are supposed to answer each question with the first thing that comes to your mind.

At the end of each exercise, "Kokology" provides (an uncannily accurate) insight about an individual's personality based on how the question was answered.

A family bound together by a lifetime of lies and deceit.

A new town, new home, new school, new identities, new friends, and a new target for their next heist.

Grace knows her role in the con: she must seduce Logan (the son of their latest target). Everything is falling perfectly into place, until young Grace finds herself falling in love.

She is feeling pulled between her "family" obligations and her desire for a meaningful relationship with Logan. And as she daydreams of a way to come clean and save her relationship with Logan, she becomes painfully aware of the lies she has also been telling herself.

While David Baldacci may be best known for his style of legal thrillers, his tale-telling talent does not stop (or start) there. Baldacci captivated readers with "Wish You Well" and "The Winner" long before he expanded into the political waters of "The Camel Club" or "Last Man Standing". Unlike many authors, Baldacci does not have to stick with a specific genre of fiction.

If you expect the CIA or FBI in every novel you read, this book is probably not for you. But I admire and appreciate Baldacci's unique ability to keep readers immersed in any plot (political or NOT) that he creates! And this book is, yet another, fine example of just that!

***** 5 STARS ***** Another poignant page-turner by this brilliant author! A compelling story about family, love, hope, miracles, and transformation.

Once I started reading this book, I could NOT put it down; I read the entire book in one sitting!
