My son was a big fan of the Captain Underpants series and we were excited when a new adventure started by the same author. Not quite as fun or as good at the Captain Underpants, but my son still enjoyed. Also simpler so younger children could read. However, a bit of inappropriate name calling I wish hadn't been in there.

Both my 8 year old son and myself love this series and this was no exception. The books are silly and clever, with great illustrations. They're good books for catching on to subtle humor. Can be a tiny bit gross at times, but most boys I know love that.

Reading this book caused us to search out more by the authors. My son (8 years) loves the part of the "FACT ATTACK" and reading the following facts about space in this book, dinosaurs in our current. Fun and educational.

I got this book for my 8 year old after getting it from the library. Follow a quarter from being minted to all the places it's used. Humorous and educational. My son found it fun to read.

The book has some great ideas, and in it's day, I'm sure kids had fun, filling out envelopes and getting things in the mail. However, it's an older book and most things are too dated to use.

The first couple essays in the book didn't 'move' me per say, so it took awhile to get into it. But, pleasantly surprised, many useful and uplifting ideas from then on!

Certainly a good story of a plucky woman. I was looking for something a bit further back in time, but enjoyed her adventures just the same.

I got this as a surprise for my 8 year old, Lego loving son. He happily read the whole book on his own, and it gave him ideas of new ways to play with his Legos. I'm going to look for more. Just make sure you get the right reading level for your child.

I've read three of the Pepper Martin series, and enjoyed this one as much as I liked the very first one. There's a slightly different twist this time. Fun!

This is a fun kid spy series that my 8 yo has really taken too. Love that he's learning about anagrams, palindromes and the like by reading the book, as the author has put in some extra, dare I say, learning fun? We hope to read them all.

My 9 year old and myself have enjoyed this series. This one not as much. I guess the main arch enemy character was just a bit much, along with heavy use of the 'fart' word. (Although Rhea, the author, does warn you about that!) One positive thing was that oxy morons were introduced, and my son has had a fun time figuring those out!

My son really enjoys looking through this book, matching up his cards. He wasn't aware that some of his cards are actually valuable! Great for the true collector. Many kids like trading Pokemon cards for the fun of it, and may not find the book so helpful.

I have read many of the Pennyfoot Hotel Mysteries and really enjoyed this one. This is one of the first. Some of you may know the older ones are a bit hard to find. This one was fun to read and early on in the series, before Gertie "married" Ian and had the twins even. It was a good story line/mystery also.

This book does a wonderful job of defining why your child may be more difficult, and how to work with them. You may get insight on your discipline style and why your kid may test so much. We've seen professionals for our challenging child, and I have say this book has been equally helpful in some areas.

While not an avid Southbeach follower, this book has some good recipes that are healthy and low in carbs. It particularly has some great main dish salad recipes (the Dilled Shrimp Salad is a favorite) and just makes you think about cooking in a more healthy way.

I always wanted one of these as a kid, so got one for my son. He's not terribly in to art, but really has had fun with it, using all the templates to make spirals. The book also has drawings to finish with the designs you make. For instance, the spiral becomes the balloon of a hot air balloon. Fun!

We've really enjoyed this whole series, this book was no exception. My 9 y.o. son was very interested in the story of Robin Hood, plus the book is filled with history and new words.
