Ever wonder what you'd do with a million dollars? Well Tess finds out when a strange deposit appears and the bad guys start chasing her to get it back. Her brother (a government agent) sends her to Almost Arizona where his buddy Sheriff McCall puts her into protective custody. Some paranormal activity happens too when Tess starts remembering a past life in the nearby Cliff Dwellings.

Good Read about a sensible spinster who takes in a troubled boy and then the social workers locate an unknown uncle. Everyone assumes that Daisy and Walker are living in sin and Daisy's job is in jeapardy. Walker and his nephew get involved in stopping drug smuggling. There is also a side romance of Daisy's father and the social worker who have known each other a long time and finally realize they like more than locking horns with each other.

Great story! A pool hustler gets taken by the new girl in the area (she gets him drunk and takes him for a 1000 dollars for her grandfather's wheelchair)and then she finds out he's her absent boss.

Good story, the premise of the treasure hunt is put together well. Some of the romance is strange since Sarah is following intuition and talks to herself a lot. Cats in the story are cute.

Good Story--post civil war but most of the action takes place in the West (Montana). Cassie's husband asks a friend from a POW camp to come and help him/his family with a mine he's working. Before Quin can get there he dies and the family is hiding his death to keep claim jumpers away.

Suspenful story with lots of twists and turns. Harry Bosch, a detective in LA is given a high profile murder case that may involve dirty cops and for sure has race, political, and media problems. There is more than one person inside the investigation that is pulling strings and misdirecting things plus he uncovers a tie to another high profile murder case and proves the suposed killer is innocent.

Another good book by Janelle Taylor, this one features a widow, Rachel, who won't take her friends advice and have a series of lovers (enjoy herself). But they don't know about the one fling she did have several years ago and Quintin is tracking her down.

Catherine (the school teacher) gets mistaken for her twin showgirl sister and arrested by a hunky bounty hunter. She runs him through the ringer trying various escapades to get away--has some funny scenes.

Interesting story of a man who has a fertility clinich sample stolen and the women who inadvertently ended up with the specimen (and the baby. Very good and there are some laughs in it to-mainly farm humor :-)

1886 female Doctor Banner O'Brien flees a man who is stalking her and goes to practice medicine in the Washington Territory. She finds her position in question and ends up working with Dr Corbin. After many sparks they get married and then she finds out he's hiding some major secrets and life gets more complicated when the stalker finds out where she lives.

Good book with nice story line; injured xLt recuperates and learns to sculpt as his new career but is disturbed by a break-in from a Dr who believes he is hiding something that belonged to her Dad. They end up teaming together to find the real villian.

Dr Landry is being framed for murdering his patients; Valerie knows something is wrong but can't get Chase to fight back (he thinks he's made mistakes). Then Val is almost killed in a gas heater episode and they know the heater was tinkered with. They start finding out that someone has accessed their offices, computers, drugs, patient files, and put "trojans" in software they use for their pharmacy orders.

Cute book with several funny and touching scenes. Kind of a Bewitched in the regency era. Joy is the last witch of her line and has trouble with her spells; Lucien is a man who is extremely proud of his linage and propriety who can't believe he's married a witch.

Excellent--Viehl is one of my new favorite authors and I'm in the process of reading the whole series. (her book reminds me of McCaffrey/Moon books) This book has Dr Torin working on the ship Sunlace as the Senior Healer. She end up forced into an engagement with one person while she loves another. She's stalked by someone on board who has engineered a way to use the entire ship as an internal weapon. Meanwhile the League is trying to capture her and they don't care who they eliminate that gets in the way. Very surprise ending too!

The Wolfman is back in Kay Scarpetta's life and what he reveals will tie into an investigation she is working as she starts her private consuling business and will also rock her personal world too. Great book!

Great read! In Blue Moon, Officer Jessie McQuade comes upon some strange happenings in her town. Matters get complicated when she falls for a professor specializing in wolf lore. Is he a werewolf? Is someone in the police department involved? Is the special hunter sent by the goverment who he really says he is? Fast book-now I need to find the others in this series.
