This was the first book I have read from Kristan Higgins and it won't be the last. I loved this book. Lucy was widowed only 8 months after she married Jimmie. Lucy and her Mother and Aunts who also were widowed, thought that there was a curse if one of the women married again that their husband would die. So, Lucy thought the best thing to do was just find someone that she wouldn't ever fall in love with. That might have worked if Ethan (Jimmie's younger brother) wasn't in the picture. Lucy and Ethan are best friends and when Lucy decides she is ready to date again. She tells Ethan that their "friends with benefits has to stop". I could not put this book down. This is definitely one for the keeper shelf.

I absolutely loved this book. Claire Keyes gets a call from Jesse her younder sister that Nicole her sister wants her to come and help her after the surgery. Claire goes to help only find out that Jesse lied, Nicole hates her and she is falling for Wyatt(Nicole's best friend). Things only get better from there. It was a great storyline and very romantic. I couldn't put it down.
