Short novella but very good book. All of Kat Martin's books on The Brodies are wonderful. I give this book 5 stars.

The story of powered aircraft is the most rapid technical adventure ever known in forms of transport. In the span of one lifetime, man has progressed from faltering hops just above the ground - scarcely half the length of a Jumbo Jet - to regular visits to the Moon.
John Young, prize-winning aviation artist, illustrates the many and varied forms of craft that have been designed to surmount natural obstacles and to carry out the tasks which flying machines are uniquely able to perform.
The epic story of their development is told by aviation writer, Peter Shephard. He traces in his commentary the ingenuity, patient experiment, trial and error, and eventual application in practice. It began with Leonardo da Vinci, triumphed at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on 17 December, 1093, and will take us, perhaps, to the limits of the Universe.
This is a most interesting book for the aviation buff.

Geralyn Dawson is an awesome writer. This was the third book in the Callahan brothers series. I read all three and they are all books not to be missed. Exciting, great charactors. This was the first time I have read Ms. Dawson and I will definitely look for other books she has written. I give this 5 stars.

America came late into World War II, but with her entry the awakened "sleeping giant" brought to bear the most potent industrial and military machine the world had ever seen. Nowhere was this expressed more vividly than in the vast production of superb fighters that poured off the lines and into the ranks of her air force and navy and her allies throughout the world. Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Lightnings, Black Widows, Wildcats and Corsairs; these aircraft winged their way across the continents and oceans of the globe and wrought havoc amongst the dark forces of Hitler's Germany and Imperial Japan. These fighters and their aircrews symbolized the energy, enterprise, skill and spirit of America and played the decisive role in establishing peace in the war-torn world of the 1940's.
This book pays graphic tribute to these men and machines who, after many bloody battles, reigned victorious in the skies of Europe and the Pacific.

Lady In The Dark
It was every woman's dream come true, waking up in a opulent bridal suite, a wedding ring on her finger and a magnificent male specimen by her side. But for Whitney Bradshaw it was more like a nightmare. She couldn't remember the wedding, or her new husband -- or even her own name ...
None of this made any sense, least of all the man she'd married. Zane Russell was as gentle and loving as any bride could ever hope for. And yet he always seemed to be keeping secrets from her ...
And the most disturbing secret of all was why he was fighting against the breathtaking passion that sizzled between them ...

Here for the first time is the story of aviation illustrated with drawings and paintings. All are original works by members of the highly regarded Guild of Aviation Artists, and most have never before been published.
Photographers recorded the Wright Brothers' first flights and the fiery end of the Zeppelin Hindenburg, but the drama of Lindberg's Atlanta crossing and the fall of the Baron von Richthofen are among many historic moments in aviation that have eluded the camera's eye. In Aviation Art, noted artists recreate the drama, details, and color of virtually every great event in the history of flight.
Accompanying these artworks is text written with an original viewpoint, in which the author concentrates on the most significant and interesting aspects of aviation's past, as well as those that merit greater attention.
With its unique combination of authentically detailed drawings and paintings and authoritative commentary, Aviation Art offers enthusiasts an opportunity to witness flight's greatest moments more closely than ever before.
This book will surely afford a great deal of pleasure to those interested in aviation.

I have every one of Lori Foster's books and love them all. This one is way out in left field. I did not like this at all. Not my kind of book. I hope Ms. Foster goes back to writing like she did at the beginning.

At first Ann Carson thought the notes were a prank. Then came more sinister threats ... and the eerie awareness that someone was watching her. Ann dreaded the long, hot summer nights - until rugged policeman Clay Clinton became her bodyguard. She would finally be able to sleep at night - if only thoughts of Clay would stop invading her dreams...
In daylight, Clay had no trouble focusing on his mission: hunting the stalker. After sundown, however, he found it harder to concentrate. For his wary gaze couldn't ignore Ann's sultry blue eyes - or her heat-flushed skin bared by sheer, silky nightgowns. As Clay struggled against the firestorm of desire, the killer closed in - and still the temperature was rising ... A very good romance/mystery thriller.
