Introduced me to a whole new genre. This alternative history is fantastic. Mr Flint takes you to a believable place in time (or perhaps best said as out of time.) I totally enjoyed the story and was pleased that the author had done his homework on both American history and that of western Europe. A great read.

Another wonderful book in the Ring of Fire series. Mr. Flint and his co-authors are impressive in the research they have done in this alternative history. Fascinating story line. Actually, most people could read this book before reading the others that came before. But don't miss any opportunity to read the others!

Another totally enjoyable altered history! I crochet. I will never be able to look at yarn again without thinking of Brillo and the aristocratic merino sheep!
Well told tales that continue the saga of the Ring of Fire.

Eric Flint is a master at alternative history. He has brought in authors that work at the same level he has produced!
Papal Stakes, for me, could stand alone. It would probably be preferred by others to have begun reading the series at 1632.
The vivid portrayal of the locations and the excellent characterization says much for the authors abilities.
This sequel travels through an attempted papal assasination and the attempt to control the church and the USE through kidnapping a pregnant woman related to a promonant USE citizen.
Read it!!! I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Good read, although I'm not as pleased with this series as I am with the one starting with 1632.
Author does his homework, though. Has spun a completely believable tale of British rule continuing in the USA.

Mr. Case has written a enthralling mystery. Watch out all conspiracy theorists! You will come away feeling even more concerned about Big Brother, be it government and/or religious. I'm passing it on for someone else to enjoy, but I will reread in the future.
Love it!

I would not suggest this book to anyone. But then, I only got into about the first 50 pages and put it down. Only gave it 1 1/2 stars. Probably should have given it less.

Kind of fun mystery. A book I would return to if I wanted a change of pace, Easy read.

The book is great. Read it because of the movie. Can't remember the name of the movie right now. Starred Tommy Lee Jones. The book is fantastic. Would be glad to recommend it to any adult reader. Be aware, the movie didn't follow the book completely.

Really enjoyed this tale of young blade and his story of loss and betrayal. Became thoroughly engrossed in the story. Good for teens and up.

Not much to say. It's a romance novel. On the upper end of good.
I am addicted to reading. These are my last resort if I have nothing else or can't get out to get something else. I have been known to read encyclopedias, even the dictionary.

Not bad, but not near the top of my list for David Weber books. I would read it again, but won't go looking for it. Love most of Mr. Weber's work, though.

I'm sure many would be interested in the subject matter. I simply wasn't drawn into the narrative.

This is a great read. Started it with a bit of trepidation, but laughed my way through it!! The author relates her experiences in such a down to earth way, it makes you feel as if you are sitting at her kitchen table listening to her tell you about her day!
Great for adult readers. It has a little bit of trashy language, but not enough to make it a "bad" book.

Interesting, but not going to be a favorite of mine. I have the other 3 to read. Perhaps I will change my mind when I finish the series.

The capstone and crowning achievement of Heinlein's famous Future History, TIME ENOUGH FOR LOVE, follows Lazarus Long through a vast and magnificent timescape of centuries and worlds. Heinlein's longest and most ambitious work. It is the story of a man so in love with Life that he refused to stop living it; and so in love with Time that he bacame his own ancestor.
