Just love Latin and want my girls to learn it. This is a great book for the common (and not so common) phrases.

We love the Frances books, and this is one of the best. Good lesson to be learned!

Well, my husband is not much of a book reader (lots of magazines, newspapers, etc, but not books), but he has really enjoyed this!

I would say this is a bit older than 5th grade, but a great book...I ordered it for both my girls for later.

I did not care for this book. It seemed to me to be a more difficult way of memorizing the times tables than just doing it. As well, I don't think it really offers a good understanding of multiplication as much as it is just rote memorization. I reposted it without using for my children.

My daughter (10 yrs old) read this entire book in one day. She was very excited about the information and discussed it with me, and had no questions after! She said it told her everything she needed to know. What a great way to start conversation and get info across.

My daughter loves to do these!

Love this book! Used it for my older daughter then ordered another for my younger. Even though the analogies were not difficult for her, it made her stop to consider all aspects of each item before answering.

A much more fun way to learn punctuation!

Yikes! Be prepared to stop eating meat if you're an animal lover. Good info provided in crude terms. I think the authors went overboard in the "tough love" aspect of their advice. I don't need to be cursed at to get it.

My daughter loved this and couldn't wait to start! She just liked reading the book, as well as learning the game.
