I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Albeit long, I could not put this down. Lot's of history entwined with suspense. I highly recommend it, if you like historical fiction.

What a great read! I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Traci Slatton writes so visually that you have no trouble picturing characters and surroundings. I could not put this book down and I look forward to more work from this author.

I enjoyed this book! I particularly like to read books that take place in different cultures and countries thrown in with some historical or political facts. The author did a good job of describing the environment and the characters.

Fabulously written. Gripping, haunting and a twist at the end. Diane Setterfield's writing pulls the reader right into the story. I look forward to more work from this author.
