Excellent compelling true story. Not sappy, and in places a little hard to stomach due to his suffering but well worth the read. Very inspirational.

This is a well-written coming of age book about a young girl set in the 1940's-1950's would be my guess. An excellent read.

This three hour audio is another one of Siddons' great stories. Maude Chambliss learns the "rules" from her mother-in-law Hannah of how to keep alive the spirit of past generations in this beloved summer retreat.

This is a clever book bordering on fantasy set in a real world. Detective Thursday is transported into the novel Jane Eyre to guard the original writing. A fun read!

This book is by the same author that wrote "The Eyre Affair" and is very comparable to that. Thursday Next checks in and out of book worlds to solve mysteries and also experiences self discovery. Very interesting and enjoyable reading. Very well written

This audio cassette is about six hours. Good suspense fiction about a priceless manuscript. Several murders have occurred to recover this collection of vellum pages.

An excellent and well-written fictional novel based on the life of Biblical Esther. I ordered extra copies to pass out to friends because the author managed to give me an appreciation for this courageous Bible character that I'd not had before. He portrays her deep faith in God and her wisdom and preparedness on two occasions, when forced to approach the king. I highly recommend it, and if you haven't seen the movie "One Night with the King," which is based on this novel, I recommend that you see it after reading the book.

In my opinion, The Secret of Lost Things was a satisfying read about a group of folks working in a NY Book shop. I found this to be a well-written interesting read, with a tiny bit of mystery, that held my attention throughout. Hay's characters are well developed and their quirks framed the plot nicely.
