This was my first interracial romance novel. I didn't know such things existed. As my first interracial novel it was quite enjoyable. Now that I've reread it has fallen a little in my estimation. How can a woman who has run from a criminal seeking revenge endure so much yet be so nieve and weak when it comes to men. Regardless, I'll recommend it because it's a quick escape from reality.

Not your typical romance novel. More a focus on a woman rebuilding her life after severe depression and her budding romance with a man rebuilding his life after a period of amnesia. It has suspense and intrigue interwoven through it. The heroine also has a moral compass guiding her in her romance and life. Enjoyable and not your formulaic romance novel.

Great premise but I just couldn't finish the book. I'm all for an escape from reality but this required me to suspend thinking. A woman from the 'hood gets on a train, meets a man and they spend the entire day together and by the end of the day he wants her to move in with her kid. It would be nice if the author at least spent time developing the relationship between them before introducing all the other drama that goes with this woman.

This is a cute story of two people who keep running into each other. Actually 3 times in the same day. Finally, they introduce themselves and the story takes off from there. You have the obligatory family member who objects to an interracial couple but it was minor. A nice read.

This is such an inspirational book of how some people's love stories were meant to be. Kizmat. It inspires hope that there is someone out there for you. It also touches on how some couples never stop loving each other, even in death. Another book in this vein is A Match Made In Heaven and A Match Made In Heaven II.

I've read this book quite a number of times. Ms. Cameron took the time to develop the story line between the couple and you could see it was going to be a good relationship. They run into their problems but manage to overcome them just in time. A nice read on a slow day.

Ms. Keaton obviously did a lot of research into Egypt, Egyptian mythology and archaeology. She weaves an entertaining story about a woman who finds more than treasure when she goes to an archaeological dig in Egypt. Just make sure the version you get is the corrected version. Apparently there was a problem in the printing and some pages were duplicated while others were omitted. I ended up having to send my wrong copy to the publisher to be replaced with the corrected version.

I have read this book so many times I've stopped counting. A sizzling hot story of a woman who discovers love for the first time - with a playboy nonetheless. Each thinks they are only in it for the "benefits" but it quickly becomes about more. A great read and a wonderful escape.

A very well written story. The reverse racism of the big sister and the seeming inability of the heroine to stand up to her family was a little annoying but the romance between the couple was very well developed and so realistic. Quite an enjoyable read.

I love this book. I have read it so man times I've stopped counting. The relationship between Eden and Chase sizzles and the back drop of politics makes it even more interesting. I love that the author allows you into the heads of various characters to understand what they are thinking. It's one of those books that makes you wish it was you in the story. Great read.

The cover and the title are a little misleading. Based on the photo and the words you would think this is a sizzling novel. Think again. With the exception of the one-night stand that got the heroine, Renata, pregnant, most of the story focuses on the guy who can't forget her and when he comes back into her life, finds out she's pregnant. He then spends the rest of the story trying to convince her to marry him. Probably a case of the cart before the horse. This was an okay read.
