If you are taking the PRAXIS II exam, you MUST study for it--well, at least if you're like me, and haven't thought about a quadratic equation, the speed of light vs sound, why Lewis and Clark explored the west, or the difference between a dipthong and digraph in 15 years. I only had to take the Elementary Education Content (#0014)exam. I also used a Colorado PLACE exam content study guide. While I *think* the Kaplan guide would likely have helped me secure a passing score, there were some instructional-type questions I wouldn't have thought to study if I had only used the Kaplan.
NOTE: I also had a 2010 copy of this book from the library, and there were no changes/updates between the two, at least in the 0014 and El Ed sections I read.
