This was a very enjoyable book. I had a hard time putting it down, even though it is for teens! I'm looking forward to finding more in this set.

I really enjoyed this short story. Everyone seemed to follow their personalities from the original. Just a small what-if. No blatant sex in this one.

I found this book to be quite exciting and I had a hard time putting it down. Really enjoyed the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the stories that start with famous events in history.

Truly awesome story. Very well written and hard to put down. More biblically and historically accurate than many stories I've read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this very sweet story. Imperfect people in need of love and understanding.

I enjoyed this story very much. It was read in one setting and didn't get anything else accomplished until it was finished! Both main characters are very nice people from the beginning. Good storyline with historical truth and twists that are unexpected. Gave it 4.5 stars.

I thought this was a great book. Very enjoyable adventure, set in an interesting time period. I love stories about the Chicago Fire, San Fran earthquake, etc. The book is relatively clean with no long drawn-out sex scenes. I loved how the main characters changed throughout the story. Good survival parts as well. Good book.

I really enjoyed this book. It deals with spousal abuse, codependency and the recovery process. The story is about the new friend of a young lady who left her groom at the alter due to her terror of men. Although the friend wants to help said young lady to not be afraid of all men, she soon finds that she would rather have the man in question for herself. Great banter and repartee between the characters.

Really enjoyed this: Got the audio from the library to listen to on the way to work and back. What fun!

I really enjoyed this story. Friends, villains, nasty relatives and a sweet child. Diana is very self-reliant and strong for one so young. Her behavior, for the most part, was commendable! And for once the main man isn't in his thirties. Liked it a lot!

I was kind of disappointed in this book. There is way too much background, repetitive at that, before the couple ever even get near each other. Even though I am a Christian, I felt that this book was extremely 'preachy'. The story idea had lots of potential, but I felt that it wasn't reached.

I really enjoyed this story. I grew up in Tanzania, just south of where the story takes place so it was very interesting to me. Catherine Palmer does a well-written male character here! Although there were a few inconsistencies, this book was very good.

Great, essentially clean, romance. I loved it, had a hard time putting it down, and will look for more of Ms. Cornick's books.

This was a very good story. More potential than it used, I believe. I enjoyed it, but it didn't catch and hold me as much as others have. I would give it 3.5 stars.

I really enjoyed this story. I felt Gabrielle's pain in the heart-wrenching parts. The historical details were well written and true to life. Very romantic, but not gushy or too preachy.

Good mystery. Hard to know who "did it" until the last few pages. The romance was okay, not great.

Awesome cover. Great storyline. Enjoyed it very much. A little too preachy in sections for some who may not believe exactly like the "mainstream".

I've used this cookbook for many years. Even when living in Thailand, it was one of my favorites. The Pad Thai recipe is the one I use every time with only a few additions. Although I have hundreds of cookbooks now, this remains one of my most used for Thai food.
