An OK book, some clever lines, and the teenaged daughter rings true, but overall not as well done as other light fantasy books I've read (like MJ Davidson).

This is not a Mercy Thompson-series book, but apparently the start of a new series. It just doesn't measure up. The main character is weak to the point you wanted to slap her and say "Snap out of it already!", the male is stoic to the point of absurdity and the existence and purpose of an "Omega" is never fully explained. Come back, Mercy!!

I've enjoyed all of Davidson's previous books, but have to say this one is just a retread -

Nice YA story, quasi-mystery. Very wholesome, for 12-14-yr-old boys.

Interesting new series by the author of "Artemis Fowl". I kinda doubt that real-life 10 and 12 year old kids are as sophisticated in their language and thinking as these kids are, but it's still an amusing story with a solid lesson about judging others...

New series. I like the other series by this author, but just couldn't care about this one... Who makes a living out of mystery shopping???

Heart-warming true stories of dogs given another chance through the Petfinder website. Makes you want to go out and adopt a dog!

This is a great book! If you haven't yet discovered Joe Sixsmith, do yourself a favor....a well written English mystery with a likeable protagonist. I believe there are two others in this series, and this is the 3rd.

Well written, fast paced mystery. Author has followup book, LOST, with same characters.
