This is a book of the stories of the top one hundred Contemporary Christian songs, as chosen by the staff of Contemporary Christian Music magazine, along with a group of artists and industry executives. Interested in CCM? This is a good reference book.

Don Piper came back from an accident that nobody thought he would ever survive. He was granted a glimpse of what awaits a believer on the other side of death, and few who read this book will be the same after they read it. Curious? Try it, it's worth the read.

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if a war came to our own country? This is Pat Frank's classic look at life in the US after a nuclear exchange with the Soviet Union back in the sixties. Should be on the reading list of anyone who likes excellent science fiction or alternative history.

A sweet look at how a child's hope brings happiness to a family broken by the death of a father....definitely worth having!

In a world where angels and humans coexist, angels have the power to rule, due to their ability to control weather and provide for healing of normal humans. But now, after many years, humans have come to question this arrangement, and wonder why angels rule...and if they can be brought down from power.
The Archangel Alleluia knew the truth, and her story will someday come to light. But what will happen to society when the truth is finally known to all?

In a far world, where angels and humans meet and live together, women are attracted to the beauty and presence of angels....and some seek to love them. Women who give themselves to angels are called Angel Seekers, and the words are not considered a compliment by most. In this story, a young woman, desperate for a better life, becomes an angel seeker, hoping to have an angel baby by him. But, once she finds an angel, she finds that things are not as they have always seemed to her, and her life changes for good.
Highly recommended, fantasy/sf, should be read after other books in the series.

In a world where angels and humans coexist, angels rule by the powers granted to them by Jovah. However, to produce angel children, angels must mate with mortals, and only the right mate will produce the cherished angel offspring. The Archangel Gaaron has been told who his wife, the future Angelica, must be. But how will he convince her to leave her nomadic life to be his bride and sing by his side?
A good stand-alone novel in this fantasy/sf series, and one of my favorites. Recommended!

Have you ever wondered whether the angels have had second thoughts? Darien, the focus of the story, has come to wonder if God was truly just in exiling Lucifer and his followers, and is given a chance to investigate, to find out for himself. In the end, he finds his choice, and comes to know the true nature of evil as well as the source of all that is good.
Roger Elwood, once a well-known science fiction author, has made an interesting window into eternity for his readers. Try it!

Like most books that movies come from, this is even better than the movie. And that's saying a lot, considering that this movie is one of the few that I own a DVD of. This history of the Apollo 13 mission is a must-read for history lovers, and those who enjoy science and science fiction as well.

In a world where angels and humans coexist, angels channel the power of Jovah for an entire world. When Gabriel is chosen as the senior, ruling angel, he finds that he must choose a human woman as his future mate, his Angelica. He is even told her name. However, he isn't told that she is not only a slave in the house of a powerful family, she is also uninterested in marriage to an angel!
First book in the series, great place to start, highly recommended.

Take one small kingdom, with lots of problems, one recently dead king who didn't leave an heir, and two conniving uncles who want to make some bucks turning the kingdom over to its less-than-friendly neighbor, then add one college student who also happens to be the illegitimate son of the ruler......and you have "Bad Prince Charlie."
Charlie has been convince by his scheming uncles to take the throne so that they can make some money by selling out to the king next door. But much to their surprise, he turns out to be a pretty good king! What happens when you add a pot-smoking priestess and a beautiful Lady who doesn't mind the thought of killing a person or two standing in the way of her becoming queen? Charlie ends up neck-deep in trouble!
A VERY funny book, good choice for both fans of fantasy and comedy. Highly recommended!

Book two in Larry Niven's "Dream Park" trilogy.
Think YOUR nightmares are bad? Try living in the middle of someone ELSE'S nightmare...everlasting winter, Eskimo mythology, excitement galore....until it stops being a game when the ammunition is REAL. The kind of amusement park that I wish really existed.
Highly recommended!

This is a look at a time in the life of Deanna Troi, and makes you think that there is more than just a pretty face to this Star Trek TNG character. Good read!

This is the latest in the "No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" series, and as much fun as all the other books! The series is a look into a culture that many of us will never see, with a wise and charming "traditional" African lady. Fun for mystery fans, and fun for anyone who likes smart women as well!

Haven was somewhat of a misnomer. The moon of a gas giant, Haven was a depository for misfits and criminals that the Co-Dominium didn't want. However, this world self-selected for strength and intelligence, and turned out some very good soldiers. Which came in handy when the Saurons came to call.....
First book in a series, fascinating read!

Book three in the "Dream Park" trilogy, the home of fantasy gaming, wild rides, and an occasional murder. Imagine technology that can take you into another world in a way that seems totally real....where zombies can show up, where magic works, and where you can be almost anything you want to be: for a price.

If you enjoy science fiction, I'm sure you've read Heinlein. But if you haven't, then get started! However, don't make this your first Heinlein book. This story links to (probably) a dozen Heinlein stories, and if you haven't read at least some of them, you'll be lost before long.
If you are familiar with "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress", "Time Enough For Love", "Stranger In A Strange Land" and "The Number Of The Beast", add this to your reading list and enjoy!

Another in "The Cat Who" series...lightweight, but enjoyable. Anyone who loves cats, mysteries, good food or an easy read would enjoy this one!
