This is a great book full of ideas. It took me a couple of days to get through it b/c there was so much on each page. Many of the ideas incorporate painting with many of them fixing up old stuff. If you enjoy DIY projects-you'll LOVE this book! Most things in here are things that you could do without very much skill (some elbow grease in some of these). Many things are fabric related. Great ideas on new ways to use things that are fairly common.

I haven't read one of her books that I haven't liked. I don't usually read this type of book but this is so well written I couldn't put it (or any of the others) down.

Great book! This is on my keeper list along with the rest of the O'Malley series. This is one of those books that you won't put down until you finish it.

One of my all-time favorites! Danger in the Shadows is the prequel to this. It's not necessary to read it first but it's a great book as well.

Still a good book and if you've started the series, you have to read it. It just didn't grab me like some of the other books in the series.

Colorful and interesting. My stubborn 5 yr old will actually do the work in this book. A good resource. I use it to supplement Ready For The Code.

IF your child already knows letter sounds and letter recognition then this book is the best!!
Don't use this book until after they are ready to put the sounds together b/c the book will move
too fast for them. I've been amazed at how much my child is learning from just a few minutes of
teaching every day! This is the child that would not let me teach him to read and write. I highly
recommend this book.

I really like this one. It does help to read the 1st book in the series at least. This is one you won't see me listing on here-it's on my keeper list.

I didn't care for this one as much as the others in the series. Too much reading their letters instead of dialogue. Still a good book and it ties in with the other books in the series.
