Encouraging book, speaks the truth of God's best for our life through the gift of children and family...a message not often heard in our society.

I was so disappointed with this book. It was very graphic regarding fighting, war, and murder. I stick to Christian based books because I typically find them an emotionally safe place to be, this was not. I started the second book in the series and simply could not finish it. It may have been historical, but if I want all the gory details of that historic time frame, I would have picked a secular book series on the topic.

For Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer lovers, this is a regency book that is clean and enjoyable, just like Austen and Heyer books.

A must have if you have toddlers. This book has been reprinted over the years because it is so good and lots of people want it and use it. Every member of my family has one.
