A Lucy Stone mystery. For Lucy, the best thing about Chirstmas has always been the annual Cookie Exchange. This year the usual generosity and goodwill are missing. Tucker turns up dead. Some Christmas secrets should not be opened.

First in the series, thus the author spends most of the book introducing the characters. Not much action. Was hoping for more activity involving the dog.

Loved the way it was tol by Chet, the dog. Author did a good job of portraying the dog's confusion about certain words and phrases. Slow to get started, but by about page 25, it gets interesting.

Contains two feel-good stories. Though written about Christmas, good any time of the year. The story, "There's Something about Christmas," is funny, and provides several very interesting fruit cake recipes. Even those who hate fruit cake will like this.
