The first book in the Longmire series was FANTASTIC! Craig Johnson is a wonderful writer who brings the characters to life with action, history, and culture.

I picked up the book because the main character Hugh is my 24x great grandfather. It was an enjoyable book but at times seemed to drag on.

I enjoyed the book and the Cotton Malone series. Some books I have loved, others I have hated. This book falls in the middle. It had some high points and some low points.

I have read the other book about this murder and I much prefer this one. It is more balanced. This happened in my old neighborhood and I knew some of the people in the story. As a true crime story, it was a very good read.

This is a great opening to the new Western series by Don Bendell. The main character Joshua Strongheart embodies the great character strengths much like Bendell's other western series "Chris Colt".

Great book where the old style cowboy tracker meets the modern era. But this isn't fiction. This is real life cowboy and Special Forces Don Bendell. Stories of tracking real life bad guys through the mountains in Colorado.

I love this series by Don Bendell. It would make a fantastic TV show where things like Duty, Honor, and Courage are encouraged and rewarded.
