An excellent mystery story that takes place in post WW II Australia. Bony is on the trail of some left over spies. It is told very well and holds ones interest. It kept me up very late the night I got into it. A really good read.

This is a tremendous read. A book that once you are 50 pages into it, you want to finish it before sleeping. In other words don't start it after dinner unless you want to stay up all night. It continues the story fron the first two books by Steig Larsson and is his final book. The mystery readers of the world should aknowledge Larsson as a master writer and say a prayer for him on the day of his death-a great loss to us. I give this book 5 stars as the other 2 books as well.

A book that has an important message for the young ones. It is one of the books which will be repeated over and over again. Our youngest granddaughter [4 yrs] loves it. The ladybug captured her interest and the story kept it. She has, since reading it, been a little more reserved before acting out and just mentioning that she might be a ladybug generally quiets her down. Great book.

THis is a Dol Bonner mystery. She is Rex Stouts female detective. It is not a Nero Wolf by any means. But a different style of mystery as she leaves her office and moves around. The hand in the glove as a mystery is a good read that is well paced. The plot puts Dol in some danger and through some coincidence and brains ahead of the authorities. An excellent story and a good read.

Very interesting for the southwest buff, but also interesting from a anthropology interest. A little difficult to wade through at times, but readable.

A good read. It is a historical fiction thriller-almost but not quite an Indiana Jones. However, it does have a considerable amount of history that is not studied in the U.S. schools unless you take an European history course in college. The story revolves around Napoleon's adventure in trying to conquer Egypt and the middle east shortly after the French revolution. It does not put you yo sleep but does not keep you up until all hours either.

It was interesting to me because we visit New Mexico regularly. It described life there for a youngster growing up poor in the 50's and 60's which makes them my generation. An interesting social statement if Hispanic life at that time. If one plans on going to visit the southwest, it presents a picture of its development and how it got to the present. A well written and good book.
