I really enjoyed this book. It was a short book, but the author managed to get a lot of story in relatively few pages. Adam is hard to love in a way but I could understand why he felt the way he did. I'm glad Lidia was able to change his mind.

An interesting story of a woman who goes undercover in a strip club in order to figure out who is killing the dancers there.

This was my first experience with Jill Marie Landis, who I guess has now moved on to writing more Christian-themed books. This one was much racier than her more recent ones, she told me on Facebook. I felt it was a good introduction to her as an author, and I look forward to reading more of her books.
It's a mistaken -- or rather, switched -- identity story, of two women unhappy with their current situations, who change places. The heroine of the book goes on to marry a man she has never met and who is frankly, pretty awful to her at first. But he has been hurt a lot in his life and so I guess it is understandable that he would be unwilling to trust her.
There are lots of plot twists to keep you entertained here, and overall a good read.

I think I almost like Stephen King's short stories better than his novels, and that's saying a lot. While his novels are mostly epic, very complicated works requiring many days to finish, these short stories are easy to read in a single sitting. I read the whole book in about a week. Several of these stories left a lasting mark on me, and I would highly recommend this book to other fans of Stephen King, and also to anyone who wants a smaller introduction to him.

My favorite of Stephen King's books, by far. Not light, easy-to-read fare, but well worth the time it may take you to get through this book. It tells the story of an America wiped out by a genetically engineered super-virus, leaving only a small percentage of the population alive. King quickly focuses in on a small number of those left alive, who come from diverse backgrounds, but band together to form a new society. He tells the story of their fight to learn how to survive in this new world and also their fight against evil forces which are still at work.
