I really am enjoying this book. I am reading it bit by bit and meditating on it slowly. There are lots of familiar verses but they are put together in such a way as to uplift the reader who really absorbs them.
It is helpful to have a bible on computer or mobil device because there are lots of verses to look up at the end of the chapter. Of course you could skip over this part but it really adds to the study.

I love this way to study my bible. If you like to doodle while you study and feel the need to have a way to really analyze the text in depth, than this is a book for you. I used this book in a small study group and only two of us remained after a month. It i very detailed way to study so take what helps you and don't feel the need to do everything it explains. I printed out a book at a time from Blue Letter Bible.com

I Kissed Dating Goodbye: A New Attitude Toward Relationships And Romance
Review Date: 3/4/2015

I got this book for my teenage son. I want to explain the right way to look for a future wife without having the experience myself. Great book for teens or divorcees re-entering the dating scene. It provides a Christian and biblical perspective on God's plan for finding a mate. Included are reasons why the world's typical dating doesn't work very well, that God has a better way. I wish I had know this perspective when I was a teen.

A friend of mine who had fostered 55 foster babies recommended it to me. She would get a (drug addicted) newborn to sleep 5-8 hours nightly. Even though some of these babies moved on to live with relatives, mom or dad she made theri lives alot better by doing this.

The book is really great. It really worked for my fosters as well. Many of them came from families where the parents had passed them around to different caretakers who each treated them diffrently. The schedule and routine helps babied trust that their needs will be met. A newborn cries for many reasons and tring to figure out why is solved by setting a routine, knowing the baby has all that it needs.

On Becoming Baby Wise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep
Review Date: 10/24/2011

I know that it is not recommended that we summarize our experience, but i must make an exception with this book.

I have a friend who fostered more than 50 babies. Some of them had been exposed to drugs, others, alcohol, and neglectful parents. I had just taken a baby who had been neglected and she recommend the book because I was having such a difficult time. What a lifesaver this book was for me and the baby.

This book certainly had it's controversy but when a mom, dad or whole family is stressed by a new baby, this could be the answer for you. This time in baby's life should be a blessing to a family.

My friend managed to get all her babies to sleep through the night. What a blessing for the parent or caretaker when they got the child back. And my baby got on a schedule and became a joy.

Btw, I had to split the portions in half and double the schedule at first and then I went to the schedule in the book.

This book was recommended by our homeschooling curriculum TruthQuest. I thought that my 9 year old son may think it was too "girly" but he actually loved it. He read it aloud to his 4 year old sister and now they play dress up and pretend portions of the book.
