I felt unsatisfied as I finished this book. I didn't get much out of it. I liked the book but did not feel for the characters. I had the impression this was more of a love story but, spoiler alert, they barely meet. There are so many books out there to read, find something better written.

Strange, simple, short excerpts on what Twain thinks would have gone on in first man and woman's heads. I did not know Eden was in Niagara Falls. Very short, but still not really worth the time.

I love me my Barbara Kingsolver but I stopped reading this book at page 154 and returned it to the library. I couldn't care less about the main character "what's her name" and her smoking addiction and her almost affair. The so called miracle is nothing but a beautiful act of nature I have seen on TV programs and I was not anticipating reading further to learn about global warming. I was disappointed to say the least.

I can't believe I read the whole thing! I usually quit reading a book I do not like but finished this one. Characters were not strong and I did not relate to where the story was going, which ended up being nowhere.

I have always loved Joan's biting humor but I could not continue to read this book that just complains about everything! Not enjoyable at all.

One of the funniest books I've read with my children EVER! This young tyrannosaurus is going to convince you how "bad" he is and you better believe it. Clever quotes that we have quoted for a couple of years now. Super fun for both boys and girls.

I usually enjoy Erdrich books, but this one fell short for me. Maybe too many characters with barely any emotion. There were short areas of the book I didn't understand because I couldn't figure where they fit into the storyline. The book just stops and nothing very importent happens. Disappointed.

If the description of this book looks good to you, you will like it. The story keeps moving and the characters are interesting in that you will care about what happens to them. We'll written, easy, relaxing read.

All this book is, is the original Old McDonald song with Pete the Cat illustrations. There is nothing original or clever, just regular farm animals and the sounds they make.

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose!

My kids and I have enjoyed most of the "There was" books, but this one is bad! This one seems to have been thrown together just to have one related to Valentine's.
