Nope! Just repost the book to create a new request.
If there is not a new request when you repost, that means the requestor is now getting the book from another sender.
A sender has 4 full days to respond to a book request. If you did not respond to the request in time, the transaction was canceled, the book was removed from your bookshelf, and if there was another copy available in the system, the request was passed along to a new sender.
You will need to repost the book if you want to offer it for swapping.
- If the previous requestor did not have his or her request passed along, your copy will then be offered to him or her immediately, and he or she will have 48 hours to confirm that she or he still wants the book.
- If the previous requestor's request was passed along, your book will need to wait for a new requestor.
If you were away from home when the request came in by email, you should read How to put your Account on Hold/vacation to learn how to put your bookshelf on hold if you plan to be away or are too busy to check emails for a time, to prevent missing more requests.
