If you have Posted a book and you can't see it when you look at your PBS account Bookshelf:

• Most likely this book is listed in the database without an author
  • If you have sorted your account Bookshelf by author you will not see this book
  • Click at the top of your account Bookshelf and choose Title Date Posted from the options.
  • You should see your book.
• It could also be appearing in unexpected (wrong) order when your account Bookshelf is sorted alphabetically by title
  • Rarely, books do not appear in the correct alphabetical order by title on an account Bookshelf. 
  • To find your book in this case, click at the top of your account Bookshelf, and enter the title of the book
  • You can also your account Bookshelf by Date - Descending if this was a recently posted book, and the book should appear at or near the top of the list shown.
  • Let us know if a book goes onto your account Bookshelf in incorrect alphabetical order so that we can look into what happened, and correct it.  Please provide the title of the book.

 You can add an author name to your book listing in the database using the Edit Book Data link.,

If you have posted a book and you see it on your account Bookshelf but you can't find it when you search the PBS database:

• You may be looking too soon - the servers need a chance to synch up.
  • The system needs about an hour before the search will show your book.
  • The Books Posted Today and Recently Posted Books displays on the home page also need that time.
• If the servers have had time to synch (again, they need about an hour) then
  • Most likely you are entering incorrect information in the Search field.
  • Check the spelling of the terms you are using to search 
  • Try a search by ISBN
  • You should see the notation on the listing that comes up: You have posted this book.  (This appears instead of the Order this Book button.  You wlll not see the Order button on a listing for a book that is active on your account Bookshelf.  Everyone ELSE in the club who does not have the book posted WILL see the Order button.)

If you have had a book requested from you, and when you look for it on your PBS account Bookshelf, it is not there:

• You will not see a book on your account Bookshelf while it is involved in an active request.
• Look at the active request on your account page; the date and time that the book was posted to your account Bookshelf is there.
• A book cannot be requested from you unless you posted it at some point in the past.
• You will not see a book on your account Bookshelf if you have clicked "I cannot send"--doing this removes the book from your account Bookshelf.
