All books at PBS are required to be in good condition and meet PBS criteria for swapping.  If you have special (extra) requirements for the books you request here, it is very easy to add "Requestor Conditions" to your account.   You can do this in your Account Settings.

• It is important that your Requestor Conditions be clear and easy to interpret

  • They will appear verbatim on any request you submit
  • They should not ask "PM me to discuss" as there is no way for the sender to do this from a pending request

• They must reflect your actual requirements for the books you receive

  • If a sender declines a request by clicking "My book does not meet conditions" your request will be passed along to a new sender. 
  • If that was the only copy of the book in the system, you will get an email and you can remove/turn off your conditions (choose "No" at the top of the Requestor Conditions section in the Account Settings and click Update) and try to request the book again. 
  • If you are not able to request the book again (with no requestor conditions on the request) that means the book has been offered to/requested by someone else already and that copy is no longer available.
