Unlike other clubs where members are forced to purchase a certain amount of books, the only thing members purchase with paperbackswap is stamps.

Membership is free and once you sign-up you automatically get three credits. Each credit is good for a book delivered right to your home mailbox from the website's seventy thousand book library.

Once you no longer want the book you simply post it back on the site and when another member requests it, you mail it out from your mailbox for the cost of four stamps.

As soon as that member receives your delivery, you get another credit good for another book.
