Like To Read? Exchange Books For Free Online
KMBC-TV Channel 9 Kansas City (TV) - 12/11/2008 by Dion Lim
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- In a tough economy, spending money at the bookstore seems like a luxury.
But if you have books you don't read anymore, you can trade them online for other books.
The site is called paperbackswap.com.
Users post books they've already read at the site. In exchange, you can request another book from one of the nearly 3 million titles listed.
Postage usually doesn't cost more than $2, depending on the book's size.
Bridgett Moss said she has listed and received hundreds of books using paperbackswap.com.
"It's very easy. If you can shop online, you can definitely do this," Moss told KMBC's Dion Lim.
In the past two years, Moss said she's saved about $3,000 using paperbackswap.com.
On The Web:
paperbackswap.com
swapadvd.com
