Finding Deals On Books

I love reading. This should come to no surprise to you as I’ve written on this subject numerous times in the life of this column.
I have recently, however, had the opportunity to really rekindle my love of reading. Since college, when I was forced to read things I didn’t really want to as an English major, I haven’t found much time to read.
I finally decided that if reading was important enough to me, I had to make the time to read.
Another thing you know about me is that I like to save money. So if I can do two things I love at once, why not? Here are some ways I’ve found to save money on books.
Paperback swap
My mother introduced me to another great online venue for obtaining books.
Paperbackswap.com is exactly what its name says. Users list books they have and are willing to trade. When someone requests the book, they simply pay the postage to mail the book, which is pretty cheap for media mail.
When you mail a book to someone, you receive a credit to request a book. You can request books for free.
