Cover Story by Susan Rigetti is another novel Bookstagram brought to my reading life. I began reading with little information about the plot, and that's best.
Even though it's set in a world quite unlike mine - ELLE Magazine internship, friendship with a wealthy heiress, living in a suite at The Plaza Hotel in NYC - I was completely intrigued, and the miles flew by as I listened while on a road trip.
Most of this story is told epistolary-style via diary entries, emails, and Instagram posts. I enjoyed the audiobook narrated by Carlotta Brentan, but some readers won't enjoy hearing the email date stamps and subject lines and IG post hashtags.
I loved the ending and would love to discuss it with fellow readers.
