This book is a lot of fun as young witch Tiffany Aching fights to get her kidnapped brother back from the realm of the fairy Queen. She is helped by a band of pictsies (sic) known as the Nac Mac Feegle. They are the heart of the book and almost always a great source of humor along the lines of the Minions from Despicable Me.

If you are a parent who likes to read to your kids and do fun voices, this book is perfect for you. The Nac Mac Feegle have a fun to do brogue with all sorts of enjoyable comments about head butting the enemy and stealing sheep. There are a handful of specific Feegles so it is easy to assign a voice to each to use throughout the book.
