If you have a reluctant reader at your house, this is the book for him or her. This story of the last days of various famous persons is offered with the humor that any 12-year-old would love. I happened to have the opportunity to listen to this and the narrator (L. J. Ganser), added just the right touch to the rapid-fire humor that was sprinkled throughout this book.

I read a great number of biographies and still, I learned new facts about the people covered. They include Julius Ceasar, Pocahontas, Cleopatra, Christopher Columbus, Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, Galileo, Mozart, Beethoven, Marie Antoinette, George Washington, Napoleon, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, President James A Garfield, Madame Curie, and Albert Einstein.

If you are listening, this is a great way to spend a bit more than three hours. This book will appeal to kids and adults alike.
