Back of Book: Santa Paws is used to spending Christmas in cold places. But this year the Callahans are trading their parkas and sleds for bathing suits and surfboards. The whole family- including Santa Paws best friend, Cookie, and the two cats - is pending the holiday on a sunny Florida island. But even a tropical paradise doesn't man a break for Santa Paws. While the family tries to enjoy their vacation, Santa Paws is hard at work, saving the day. But who would have thought that Santa Paws and Cookie would need to be rescued? And you'll never guess who saves the day. It's a truly magical Christmas for all!

I say: This is a recent addition to this engaging series for the family. 2005. For those who don't know the series, Santa Paws is a German Shepherd mix with a flair for saving the imperiled. Cookie is also a dog. Well worth reading.
