Interesting narrative of Jesus' life from the vantage point of a Japanese Catholic. His view of what personal characteristics stand out in Jesus' life and relationships is different from that of a Western reader - a fact the author points out as a possible reason why Christianity has not been able to take root in Japanese society. A good read for anyone who wants to see how Jesus is viewed by other cultures.
