This book by Dr. Davidson, a Mayo Fellow, made it possible for my primary care physician to confirm the diagnosis of fibromyalgia for me. I was bed-ridden; only able to read and comprehend a page at a time between "naps". My copy is highlighted and in the front I wrote page numbers to refer to my physician as I read the pages. I recall thinking, "This is me.", on so many occasions and on so many pages.
Confirming a diagnosis, when you've been falsely labeled and misdiagnosed for more than 20 years is invaluable and can't be reviewed or rated. This book was worth many ounces of gold to me and has resulted in life changes. It was a beginning step.
